Thus, my movie resources are dwindling. I’ve begun reviewing my old collections of Disney animations, but after having seen them several times, they don’t look as appealing as they once did.

I am, however, glad that The 4400 will be reaired beginning with the 17th of this month and it seems we’ll also be having Weeds back on the 31st of July.

I can hardly wait.

Not only did they have a captivating story, they also enticed me with the way they were drawn – every colour, every detail, every combination of static and dynamic imagery. And, somehow, a few of them reminded me of the magnificent world of Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, the RPG that I can no doubt call my favourite game of all times, with the same intriguing combination of emerging technology and powerful yet hidden magic.

Perfect PetZzz sells some pretty toy dogs and cats that look quite realistic and even breathe (thanks to a battery, of course).

I have a new small and sexy backpack which I’ve begun carrying around with me everywhere I go. That implies, of course, that I always have around tons of useless things, books, a bottle of water (finally!), my mp3 player and my digicam. Oh, and it also has a shiny Ursus Urban Music Party trinket.

I won’t get 10 in the calculus test paper I had last week. But there’s more ahead. Must learn, learn, learn, learn, learn. Yes, I want to finish this year w/o having to go to the exams sessions – for the ARTMania fest, of course.

On the same topic, Jen & I finally managed to go to Diverta Plaza and get ourselves tickets for the Tori Amos concert on the 13th of July. On this occasion, I noticed how pretty that place is – they have painted roads with marks for lanes and crossings, as well as shiny street lanterns.

And talking about Plaza, I also managed to go there with DarkWidow and have a delicious Frappucinno Vanilla and a muffin at Starbucks. Adorable.

What exactly? Well, InMyPocket collectibles. The kitties, to be more precise. Kitty families, too.

So, I want friends in more civilised countries, where they sell those little things. Any ideas?

And yes, I absolutely love miniature things, toys or simple decorative replicas of …stuff.

The official release date for Europe has been scheduled for May 2007, while the US and other parts of the world will follow in the second and third quarters of the year.

(Heroes – 01×10 – Six Months Ago)

I’m still looking for transcripts or at least some more of the beginning and ending quotes from each episode of the series.

It took me about a week to get back on tracks after not sleeping for more than 30 hours, when I had to work for a project at school. Needless to say, I was exactly as if an alarm clock repeatedly kept waking me up at 6 o’clock in the morning after not more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep – unfriendly, clumsy and unable to concentrate.

I’m usually polite when it comes to handing my seat in a bus to an elder or apparently-in-need person. But if I’m asked something like “are you ill or pregnant, miss?” on an extremely impolite and demanding tone just because I’m sitting down and I don’t notice anyone who’d actually need my place, I tend to act exactly the opposite (although I do try to avoid any such arguments).

Happy name day to me. No, not birth day. Yes, the greetings are different.

I got myself a kitty this Saturday. She’s black and little – must be at most 2 months old. She meows a lot, only wants to stay in my arms and keeps following me around the house so I have to be extra careful not to accidentally hit her. I hate that. A lot. I’m seriously considering taking her back or looking for a more patient owner who has more time to dedicate to such a creature. Maybe I’ll trade her to mom for my Katze. Maybe.

I went to Jen today for the first time all by myself and didn’t lose my way through all the meandering alleys which I had walked onto only one time before, with her. That’s amazing for me, since I my orientation skills are a mess when it comes to [big] cities (yes, mountain trips through forests are easier! :P).

The Herăstrău park is simply the most wonderful place in Bucharest, for me. At night, preferably.

I love the narrative parts from the beginning or the end of the Heroes episodes. And I hate not being able to find the movie transcripts.

I’ve listened a lot to Secret Garden lately, their music seems great for my moods right now.

Next thing, when Jen asked me if, by any chance, I wanted to go see a Spanish movie, I said “yes” without hesitation. And I’m quite glad I did. The movie we went to – Tesis – was quite captivating, the course of action was not so predictable and I enjoyed the fact that the actors played their parts in a pretty natural way. And I could actually understand most of it even without reading the English or Romanian subtitle. All in all, I’d say it was well worth the waiting in line for tickets part, as far as I’m concerned.

In other movie-related news, I resumed watching Futurama and I’m really excited about seeing the upcoming episodes of Heroes, a recently launched TV series.
