Sometimes you feel things and know things others may not know before they happen. Perhaps you’ve been there before, perhaps your logic and efficiency in analysis exceeds the common limits, perhaps it’s just pure coincidence.

Or, perhaps that thing some call intuition really exists.

There is no reasonable explanation available yet. And maybe you don’t even need to look for one, but go instead with what instincts tell you. No doubts, just faith and trust. Trust that they’ll work fine in the end. Besides, it’s not like you take so many dangerous chances anyway.

And maybe, just maybe… one day, the future will lie at your feet.

Burn
and by burning
destroy
and by destroying
cleanse
and by cleansing
you will create a new world.

Dance
and by dancing
feel
and by feeling
dream
and by dreaming
you will create a new world.

Utopia vanquished.

Faceless figures are gathering around, close, closer and closer. Perhaps somebody knew them once. Or one has yet to know them, you ponder.

Claustrophobia sets in, as envy seems the best of all the solutions a withering mind can provide. They’ve traded justice and honour for glory and power – wizards who are but wretched little men intoxicated with illusions of grandeur.

I believe I do not belong here, ladies and gentlemen. I believe I am facing the wrong audience. The eyes staring at me are those of rabid wolves. I know them, because – sometimes – I am like them.

Turn away and leave. Daylight never meant unconditional victory. Your yellow brick road lies elsewhere.

Happy bday, Dad. If only…

Too many people in my Y!M contacts list have avatars with various individuals cutting their wrists, bleeding in bathtubs or suffering otherwise. People, it’s summer, it’s [maybe too] sunny outside, get yourselves a holiday and try to relax a bit. Or just… grow up already!

A noon nap revealed to me some fancy decorating ideas. To be applied after I finish my studies.

I’ve finally “driven” a car for the first time in my life. Off-road, for starters. And even if it was just about the really really basic stuff and only a few hundred meters, I’m pretty sure I’ll make progresses soon. If all goes well, I should be starting official driving lessons in a couple of weeks, yay.

Despite the various better or worse conditions, travelling again has brought me a magnificent breath of fresh air. The nicest part was remembering all those places, the way I saw them years ago, as well as being able to take far more photos than I used to. I think I’ll start a travelling journal sometime soon, at least to write down all the places we have been to and the things we have visited. :)
