Envisioning those old bridges – the way they whisper creaking words to the waves below, the way they stand still, the way they swing – and the abyss that lies below.
One step, sweeping serenity, two steps, a missing tile, three steps, the flood of memories, four steps, the decaying rope, five steps. Then freezing, motionless. Halfway there, in-between worlds, in a purgatory that separates reality and imagination.
Confusing outlines, the crickets won’t sing anymore. Why have you forsaken me? So happy there, in that kaleidoscopic daze.
But then she took the sixth step, the fall.
Obsessive song of the day: Akira Yamaoka feat. Mary Elizabeth McGlynn – Walk on Vanity Ruins.

Sometimes I wonder if – like dogs, for example – knives should be killed when they taste human blood for the first time.
I have a new small and sexy backpack which I’ve begun carrying around with me everywhere I go. That implies, of course, that I always have around tons of useless things, books, a bottle of water (finally!), my mp3 player and my digicam. Oh, and it also has a shiny Ursus Urban Music Party trinket.
I won’t get 10 in the calculus test paper I had last week. But there’s more ahead. Must learn, learn, learn, learn, learn. Yes, I want to finish this year w/o having to go to the exams sessions – for the ARTMania fest, of course.
On the same topic, Jen & I finally managed to go to Diverta Plaza and get ourselves tickets for the Tori Amos concert on the 13th of July. On this occasion, I noticed how pretty that place is – they have painted roads with marks for lanes and crossings, as well as shiny street lanterns.
And talking about Plaza, I also managed to go there with DarkWidow and have a delicious Frappucinno Vanilla and a muffin at Starbucks. Adorable.

Yay, Metropotam.ro has an interview with my uni English teacher about the band that he is part of (the poetry writing, to be more precise) – Margento.
Too bad I haven’t managed to see any of their performances yet, but I sure hope I’ll be able to, in the near future. They really seem to be something I’d definitely enjoy for a change.
More details (plus music and a clip) can be found on the page that the band has on MySpace.

I’ll let you in on a little secret.
Good intentions stop where your knowledge of the harm you do instead begins. That’s the point where anyone will “fail” to appreciate them. Don’t even dare to expect gratitude. Silence is the diplomatic way of saying “Shut up, I don’t want to hear any more of those things!” and the moment you should probably know it’s time to stop.
Horrible are the night lights, blurry.
Obsessive song of the day: Clint Mansell – Death is the Road to Awe (The Fountain OST).
