His ghost – haunting your dreams again. Enormous joy, yet ruthless awakening. And you saw him far back in time, in warm familiar havens; and you saw him far forth in time, in cold unknown worlds.
Then a most natural idea seemed to have taken over your dreams and your thoughts: one day, genetic engineering will be able to reconstruct a human being just as it was in its last point of existence, by merely using the DNA. Both body and what one may call “soul” – his thoughts, his brain patterns, his memories, his abilities.
Some hairs you’ve never cleaned from his comb, the fingerprints on his computer keyboard, his handwriting in the diary he kept – the one in his bedroom drawer, where you’ve read for the first time how much he had loved you and how much he had loved his life.
The future you saw was blue, a dark shade of vivid blue. No sunlight, just stone, water and bluish-white neons. Large areas filled with water, yet people were walking and standing on it, just as if there was glass underneath the couple-centimetres-high waves they had their soles in.
“How selfish of me”, you say to yourself. Then ponder a bit more. “But it is, really?”

While watching some Disney animation on Cartoon Network, I accidentally saw a commercial that simply made me WANT something. Badly.
What exactly? Well, InMyPocket collectibles. The kitties, to be more precise. Kitty families, too.
So, I want friends in more civilised countries, where they sell those little things. Any ideas?
And yes, I absolutely love miniature things, toys or simple decorative replicas of …stuff.

Initially expected to be launched in February, the third closed beta testing stage for The Chronicles of Spellborn seems to have been delayed for March 21st. This one is supposed to be the final closed beta stage; coming up next, at the beginning of April, the Enclave will most likely open its gates to every soul out there who dares accept the challenges of the wonderful adventures that await. Asking for feedback instead, of course.
The official release date for Europe has been scheduled for May 2007, while the US and other parts of the world will follow in the second and third quarters of the year.
In other related news – Within Temptation have just released their new album, “The Heart of Everything”, which includes “The Howling”, their TCoS-related song. Here comes the nice part, quoting the latest Spellborn newsletter: the album features the “Open Disc” system which gives you exclusive access to a special website filled with Within Temptation and Spellborn goodies.

I have a new desk (just to me, it’s not really that way), courtesy of Jen’s quest to get rid of useless things in her future flat, as well as Patric’s and his brother Andrei’s kindness to help us move the stubborn thing. Needless to say, the whole affair was a funny adventure that also allowed a just-in-time-before-closing visit to the History Museum for a book fair and the discovery of some really nice places to hang in Bucharest (Lipscani, to be more precise). Many thanks, again!
I have a few courses to copy for myself and I am oh so lazy to get started. Yes, I want them handwritten.
I’ve realised that I’ll reach my happiness peak when I’ll have the money needed to buy a neat home of my own, as well as furniture and other useless fancy trinkets to decorate it. Plants and pets included. Oh and also a sexy car and a drivers’ license. Yes, yes, dreams.
This afternoon was the second time I felt only one step away from buying myself WoW. With the BC addon, ofc. Sexy blonde elvish chicks with flappy years, yummy.
