Was the die cast from the very beginning, or is it in our own hands to alter the course of destiny? Of all our abilities, it is free will that truly makes us unique. With it, we have a tiny but potent chance to deny fate and only with it can we find our way back to being human.
(Heroes – 01×10 – Six Months Ago)
I’m still looking for transcripts or at least some more of the beginning and ending quotes from each episode of the series.

And there it was, right in front of her, defying her own sanity.
Right there, yet it could just as well have been far away in space and time, over millennia lived in merely a few seconds of what they shamelessly and overconfidently call “reality”.
It was all exactly as she knew.
Just close your eyes… and it will be gone.
Your dream world is a very scary place
to be trapped inside
all your life.
Shine in time
until you find
you’re closer
to the truth.
Anathema – Closer

The khaki cat, shifty and fascinating like the dunes of sand, kept coming to her dreams over and over again, for several days in a row.
Each time, it brought along one or more known faces – people that she had met, people that she will meet, people that she simply felt she had known since the beginning of time, when Marduk still ruled over his Babylon. Each time, however, the cat shifted its shape, taking a different age for every soul she accompanied. She saw it as a fluffy little kitten one moment, only to notice that the following moment – or dream – it had turned into a fierce cougar.
Despite that, the all-too-familiar look in its eyes never changed, while its touch always made her shiver with a knee-bending warmth, a lavish entanglement of melting gold and pouring sand.
And as all those faces kept coming out of the mist, the dreams kept turning into reality… as real as the serpent coiling on her finger.
Obsessive song of the day: Arcana – Serpent’s Dance.

Because of some domain name issues, we’ve moved …again (actually, the host is the same).
I hope I managed to fix the databases, so everything should work smooth now. But if you do notice any invalid links or anything wrong otherwise, please notice me.
The other address will be redirecting here for a while longer, although I do not know exactly until when.
Anyway, thank you for keeping close.

This slithering road will remain grey and dusty, no matter how hard they try to clean it, how many coloured chalk we use in our childish paintings and how many leaves are sacrificed to hide away its bleakness. A “closed” sign is all that’s left to it, while clouds of ashes engulf the fresh air and sinister ghosts howl disguised as the wind.
These fangs are growing blunt.
So make her will your own will, close your eyes and leave.
Don’t look back, it was never worth it.
Obsessive song of the day: Elend – The Poisonous Eye.
