As Spring Whispers Goodbye…

It took only one common word as a reply, when she was politely saying “see you” with no actual intention of repeating any of the evening’s events or merely doing that.

But that word was so firm and resounding that her mind became totally spellbound. All around went blank and the whole universe began spinning around that word. It made her feel scared, dizzy.

She fell asleep haunted by that word, while an unknown yet wildly appealing authority slowly began to take hold of her.

Reflection

What meaning do words have in front of us? We don’t care. We’ve learnt not to care anymore. In our abstract darkness, we’ve discovered that we can both lighten up stars or turn them to ashes. Devouring souls and dreams, carnivorous thoughts instinctively attack with demonic rage just for the pleasure of seeing wedding dresses covered in blood stains. And we’ve got garments for the funeral of any other god.

In their grandeur, all gods are wicked and mean. But nobody can blame them – they are the ones who wield the power, aren’t they? Who can deny the pleasure of answering a humble “Why?” with a cold and harsh “Because I can…”?

Hey, mirror, mirror,
nail yourself to a wall,
get broken and bring bad luck.

The Brain: The irony of it all, Pinky… Years of trying to take over the world and all I had to do was say “Moo”.

Yes, I’ve recently started watching the Pinky and the Brain toon series… and I love’em. :P

My pirate name is:
Red Ethel Rackham
Passion is a big part of your life, which makes sense for a pirate. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!
